Studio is Flowy’s timeline editor for composing your assets into a finished, exportable video. When the canvas is where you generate and connect ideas, Studio is where you arrange them into something you can render and share. You enter Studio from the canvas using the mode-switch pill at the top of your workspace. A Composition node also opens directly in Studio, so anything you assemble on the canvas is ready to edit and play.
Studio timeline editor with player, timeline, inspector, and animator

The Studio layout

Studio brings together four working areas so you can preview, arrange, fine-tune, and animate in one place.

Video player

Preview your composition and scrub through it to find the exact frame you need.

Timeline

Stack tracks and clips, then trim them, with waveform and frame-strip previews to guide your cuts.

Inspector

Edit properties across the Media, Nodes, and Plugins tabs to dial in each element.

Animator

Add keyframes and shape motion with easing curves for smooth, intentional animation.
Working on more than one cut? Scenes let you keep multiple compositions side by side and switch between them without leaving Studio.
Trim and arrange clips on the Timeline first, then use the Animator to add polish with keyframes and easing.
When your edit is ready, export turns it into a downloadable video.

Timeline

Learn how tracks, clips, and trimming work in detail.

Export

Render your composition into a finished, downloadable video.

You can switch back to Canvas anytime using the mode-switch pill. Your work stays in continuity across both modes.
