Preferences

Preferences apply to all of your new projects across Flowy, and are saved on this device, not to your account, so they don’t follow you to another computer. Find them under Account → Preferences in the settings sidebar.

General

Preference	What it does
Show credit balance	Shows your remaining credits in the toolbar balance chip.
Open dashboard projects	Opens projects from the dashboard in a new tab or the current tab.
Performance mode	Reduces animations and motion for a smoother canvas.
Snap to grid	Nodes snap to the canvas grid when moving.

Assets

Preference	What it does
Organise into project folders	Groups your assets by the project they came from on the Assets page.

Canvas

Preference	What it does
Edge style	Draws connections between nodes as Curved, Right-angle, or Straight.

Notifications

Preference	What it does
In-app pop-ups	Shows a pop-up in the corner when a notification arrives.
Notification sound	Plays a soft pop when a notification arrives.

These control the toast and sound for live notifications on this device: which activity types generate a notification at all is set on the Notifications page instead.

Preference	What it does
Mouse wheel	Pan: scroll moves the canvas. Zoom: scroll zooms in and out (hold `Shift` to switch to selection mode).
