Most issues in Flowy clear up with a quick retry or refresh. This page walks you through the common ones and the fastest fix for each.
A failed generation node showing a retry option on the canvas
Failed generations are handled for you. When a generation can’t finish, your reserved credits are refunded automatically, so you are never charged for work that didn’t complete.
1

Retry the generation

Run it again from the node or from Quick Creates. Most failures are temporary.
2

Simplify your prompt

A shorter, clearer prompt often succeeds where a long one stalls.
3

Confirm your credit balance

Generations need available credits to start. Check your wallet in billing.
Video is the slowest and most credit-intensive generator, so give it extra time before assuming it’s stuck.
Renders take real time to produce. Longer compositions and higher resolutions take the longest, so a 1080p export will outlast a shorter clip.
Keep the project open while a render runs. Closing the tab can interrupt the export.
If a render fails, retry it. For the full walkthrough, see export.
If nodes and the canvas are locked, you likely have the Viewer role, which is view-only. You can request access, and the Owner can approve you as an Editor. Learn what each role can do in roles.
Flowy syncs your canvas in real time across everyone in the project. If something looks out of date, refresh the page and check your internet connection, then confirm your teammates see the same state.
Generating consumes credits from your wallet. When you run low, top up from the billing area to keep creating. See credits for how the wallet works.
Very large canvases with many nodes can lag.
Use Group nodes to organize your work, and run Flowy in a modern desktop browser. Canvas and Studio aren’t optimized for small mobile screens.
