Flowy notifies you from the bell icon in the top bar, and separately, keeps a preference matrix for what reaches you and where. This page covers the everyday tasks. See Notifications and the notification inbox for the full reference.

What notifies you

Every notification falls into one of four groups:
  • Invites & access: workspace and project invites, join requests, access-request updates, invite responses, ownership transfers, and removals.
  • Comments & mentions: comments and @mentions on your projects and assets, including replies in your own threads.
  • Community: comments, likes, and remixes on things you’ve published, plus moderation actions on your posts.
  • From Flowy: product updates.

Turn on browser push

1

Open Settings → Notifications

Push has its own master switch, separate from the per-row Push checkboxes.
2

Turn on

Subscribes the device you’re currently using. Your browser may ask you to confirm the permission.
3

Allow it if your browser blocked it

If notifications are already blocked for Flowy, the Push column is disabled and the page walks you through re-allowing them from your browser’s site settings.
Turning push off again has two levels: the master switch pauses push everywhere at once, while Turn off on this device unsubscribes only the browser you’re using. Other devices you’ve turned it on for keep receiving push.
Push isn’t available on every deployment. If it isn’t configured, the page tells you it’s coming soon and the Push column stays disabled. In-app and email notifications still work normally.

Tune your preferences

Each activity type gets its own row with a checkbox per channel (In-app, Email, and Push) so you can, for example, keep mentions in-app only while getting invites by email too. Toggle any cell to turn that channel on or off for that row; nothing is all-or-nothing.
Notifications not arriving at all? Confirm push isn’t blocked at the browser level first, then check the row for that activity type. A channel has to be checked for its column to notify you.
