Flowy runs on a credit wallet, and generating spends credits. Every account has its own wallet, so you always know what powers your creations.
Credit wallet and balance

Your wallet

Every account comes with a credit wallet built in. When you sign up, you start with free credits so you can explore the Canvas, try the generators, and see what Flowy can do — no setup required. Your balance lives in the Payment area of your dashboard, where you can watch it move as you create.

What uses credits

Generating content is what spends credits. That includes images, video, audio, and other generations you run from Quick Creates or the canvas. The AI chat assistant works a little differently — it is metered by tokens as it plans, edits nodes, and analyzes your images.
Video is the most credit-intensive generator, so longer, higher-resolution clips spend more than a quick image.

The credit lifecycle

Credits move through three clear states whenever you generate. This keeps your balance honest, even when something goes wrong.
1

Reserved

The moment a generation starts, the needed credits are blocked in your wallet so they cannot be spent twice.
2

Deducted

When the generation succeeds, the reserved credits are charged and the work lands on your canvas.
3

Refunded

If the generation fails, the reserved credits are returned to your wallet automatically.
You are never charged for failed generations. If something fails, the credits are refunded automatically — no support ticket needed.

Top up

When you want more credits, you top up from the billing area. Head to the Payment surface in your dashboard to add to your wallet and keep creating.
