Generations reserve credits on start and only deduct on success, so failed runs refund automatically. # Folders > Nest folders to organize Assets, move things between them, and pin the ones you use most. [Assets](/library/assets) organizes around folders the same way a drive does: create as many as you need, nest them inside each other, and move things between them as your projects grow. Assets ## Create and nest folders Select **New folder** to add one inside whatever folder you're currently viewing, at the workspace root, or inside another folder to nest it. Name it inline; Flowy checks the name against its siblings as you type and flags a duplicate rather than letting two folders in the same place share a name. Double-click a folder to open it, and use the breadcrumb at the top to step back out. There's no depth limit: nest folders inside folders as deeply as your organization needs. ## Move assets and folders Move things into a different folder two ways: * **Drag and drop** an asset or folder card straight onto a destination folder. * Select one or more items and open **Move to folder** from the context menu, which shows your folder tree so you can navigate to and pick a destination (including back to the workspace root). A folder can't be moved into itself or into one of its own subfolders: the destination picker disables those targets automatically. ## Pin folders to the top Hover a folder card to reveal a pin toggle in its corner; pinned folders move into their own row above everything else, so the ones you open constantly stay in reach regardless of how the rest of the view is sorted or grouped. Pins are personal and workspace-scoped. They're stored in your browser rather than synced to the backend, so they follow you on this device for this workspace, not across devices. ## Folder scope and project grouping Assets has two ways to browse: a flat view of everything, or **Organise into project folders**, which stacks your assets by the project that generated them (also available from Settings → Preferences, and kept in sync with it). Project groupings display as a fanning stack rather than a real folder, opening one scopes the view directly to that project's assets server-side, while a real folder scopes to whatever you've explicitly filed into it. The two live side by side: an ungrouped folder tree for what you organize yourself, and project stacks for browsing by where the assets came from.
