# Payments & Invoices

> Manage payment methods, find receipts and invoices, and fix failed payments.

Flowy handles payments through a secure checkout, and everything billing-related lives in **Settings → Billing** — saved cards, receipts, invoices, and your purchase history.

## Payment methods

You pay by card (or Link) at checkout when buying credits or subscribing to a plan. Saved payment methods appear under **Payment & auto-reload** in **Settings → Billing**:

* **Add card** saves a payment method — required if you want [auto-reload](/billing/credits#auto-reload).
* **View all** opens the billing portal, where you can add, remove, or change your default card.

Only the workspace owner can buy credits and manage payment methods.

## Receipts & invoices

* **Credit top-ups** — your purchase history appears in **Settings → Billing**, and every completed charge has a downloadable receipt.
* **Subscriptions** — choose **Manage billing & invoices** to open the billing portal and view or download your subscription invoices and receipts. This appears once the workspace has a paid plan or trial.

## Failed payments

If a checkout doesn't go through:

<Steps>
  <Step title="Retry the checkout">
    Many payment hiccups are temporary and clear on a second attempt.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check your card">
    Confirm the details are correct, the card hasn't expired, and it isn't blocked for online payments.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Try another payment method">
    Add a different card from the billing portal and retry.
  </Step>
</Steps>

If an **auto-reload** charge fails, the reason appears next to the auto-reload toggle in **Settings → Billing** (for example, an expired card). Update the card in the billing portal and the next reload uses it.

<Note>
  Still stuck after retrying? [Contact support](/help/contact) with the workspace name and the approximate time of the payment, and we'll track it down.
